An annual grass generally considered to be a weed.

May colonise bare areas inside gateways etc.

Physical Characteristics of Annual Meadow Grass

No auricles.
Flattened shoot.
Leaf blades smooth but with a double rib down the centre.
Leaf tip described as being 'boat shaped' (shaped like the bow of a boat).
Obvious ligule
Inflorescence type - spreading panicle.
