Uses for Yorkshire Fog

Normally considered to be a weed of grassland and an indicator of acidic conditions.
Has been used for reclamation of mountains.

Physical Characteristics of Yorkshire Fog

No auricles
Round shoot
Obvious ligule.
Base of shoots show red coloured veins.
Plant densely covered with soft hairs.
Inflorescence type - panicle, pinkish or purplish at some stages.
